For over 35 years Tree Trust has been bringing people together to create positive, lasting changes in the lives and communities of Minnesota.
Tree Trust's volunteer opportunities in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities metro area showcase a positive human impact on the environment and teach neighbors how to plant a tree for a green future. Tree Trust has responded to the impending and actual arrival of emerald ash borer in St. Paul by launching Green Futures, an initiative that collects individual donations and brings together volunteers to plant trees in the Twin Cities.
Tree Trust's employment training and case management programs, like the Youth Conservation Corps, give people the chance to earn a paycheck, learn job skills, grow as workers and complete quality landscape construction projects that benefit parks and public spaces in St. Paul, Minneapolis and the Twin Cities metro area.
Through municipal tree distributions, community tree plantings and environmental education, Tree Trust's community forestry programs, like Learning with Trees, increase the urban tree canopy, give citizens a chance to improve the local environment, and create a corps of informed environmental stewards.
